We’ve just finished our 2017-2018 Strategic Plan update which sets a clear, updated direction for our organization going forward. Now we are actively recruiting new board members, excited about our purpose and our future. Here’s more information for anyone interested in joining us.

Some programs are longstanding issues that nevertheless continue – such as the legal battles for Medicine Lake Highlands, and the H.O.M.E. program to assist visitors and protect Panther Meadows high on the mountain.

In other activities, we return to our foundational purpose to preserve and protect the mountain, focusing on policy advocacy and community education. With your support, we have plans to reinstate and further develop programs to monitor timber harvests, and to stop harmful developments while creating a vision for sustainable jobs and a resilient future.. Mount Shasta Ecology relies on generous grassroots support of our volunteers, donors and granting agencies – we want your help in identifying and making a difference on the  many important issues affecting our bioregion.
