The McCloud Community Services District has scheduled a scoping meeting January 18 on the proposed Draft EIR for the McCloud Artesian Water Bottling Facility Project. The meeting will start at 6 pm at Scout Hall, 405 E. Colombero Dr. in McCloud near Hoo Hoo Park.

The McCloud Watershed Council is concerned about this project, as a repeat of the earlier attempts by Nestle that were defeated through community activism. McCloud residents in particular will want to attend this meeting to learn more about this important issue.
