Panther Meadows is one of the most beautiful and most fragile locations in the Mount Shasta area.
Supporters of the Mount Shasta Bioregional Ecology Center created the Friends of Mount Shasta H.O.M.E. campaign to help fund the Honor Our Mountain Environment (H.O.M.E.) Program. H.O.M.E. promotes good stewardship to visitors by assisting the US Forest Service with hosting at trailheads throughout the Shasta-Trinity National Forest, maintenance and restoration of Panther Meadows’ Trails and monitoring of the Shasta & Castle Crags Wildernesses. Additionally, the H.O.M.E. Program helps to keep balance between our natural landscapes and agencies & private corporations through the Forest & Watershed Watch Project.
We, at the Ecology Center, are very grateful to the Friends of the Mount Shasta H.O.M.E. for creating this campaign to help bring this essential program into its 24th year!
Thank you for donating to preserve the biodiversity of our magnificent Mountain!
