Shasta Commons is a fiscally sponsored project of the Mount Shasta Bioregional Ecology Center. Its vision is to create a resilient, sustainable Siskiyou County community in harmony with nature where the majority of our basic needs are supplied locally.

The group’s mission is to be a resource network to assist in the organization and promotion of local and sustainable goods and services through education, exisiting and planned community projects and the mountshastacommons.org website. Projects include but are not limited to cooperative organic food growing and distribution, a neighborhood fruit harvest program, micro-farming workshops and local currency/ trade bank.
